So I have been doing really good with getting up early in the morning and running before work. I even called my sis at 7:30 on the way to work to ask her what she has done for the day...I was able to say that I've already ran 4 miles, and am on my way to work! (She used to do this to me when she was on top of her running, and I wasn't on top of mine). Nice eh? A couple of things running around the neighborhood reminds me of: If its in the evening, I can always smell dinner cooking. It reminds me of growing up and having to be home by 5:3o. It literally shoots me back to those days. It also reminds me of doing homework in the family room while my mom is cooking dinner, and NBC is on the television extra loud so she can hear it. Running around the neighborhood is also interesting because sometimes you can smell all of the different house smells. Some house smell like clean laundry, others smell like food, others smell like a dirty garbage. Just a few observations.
I didn't run around the neighborhood this morning like I should have. I didn't run tonight like I should have, thus, I should keep up with running in the mornings. Now I have to divy up my times for the week to make sure I get in the right mileage. Last week was a 13 miles week with a 5 mile long run. This week is a 15 mile week with a 6 mile long run. Fun stuff!
I actually get excited to run. Its weird.

I love reading other people's running adventures and thoughts. It inspires me to keep at it, or on a week like this one - stay motivated! I've still yet to wake up and run before work, good for you! You're doing awesome!
So my cousin (who's a runner and running the half in Jan.) gave me the idea to run in a 10K before to experience running in an actual race before the big day. I thought it was a good idea so I signed up for the Chandler Challenge 10K on Oct. 18th. It's only 20 bucks, so why not?! Let me know if you are interested in doing it with me!
Also, I'm getting more and more tempted to run the full. I'm building my endurance so much faster than I thought I could! I am really starting to think that I might be able to pull it off! Maybe I'm crazy :)
